Looking for advice on where to go from here. When I Review the Configuration All I get is green ticks and no actions to take. To register the license server as a service connection point in AD DS, use Review Configuration in the RD Licensing Manager tool. Ensure that there is network connectivity between the license server and AD DS. The Remote Desktop license server could not be registered as a service connection point in Active Directory Domain Services (AD DS). Source: Microsoft-Windows-Terminal Services-L icensing You should always just be able to run SystemRoot\system32\tsadmin.exe directly. I've been through the instructions on several sites namely this one at but am getting the following error in Server Manager > Remote Desktop Services > Servers: In the past where I work some of my coworkers actually moved the Link for the Terminal services Manger when they were attempting to create a shortcut to the console on their desktop or quick-launch. I'm trying to set up remote Desktop services on our Windows 2016 server and the licences (User CALS) aren't being used by users when they log in via RDP (as viewed in RD Licensing Manager). You can use the built-in Server Manager to manage the user sessions. Can anyone help me with a GUI tool to manage 2016 RDS servers with I used to look after a 2003 TS and it had GUI tools in which I could control sessions, limits, take over control of sessions, set time limits on sessions etc, but I cant find anything like that with 2016 RDS.
